At Rawmona’s Kitchen, our mission is to remember + celebrate ancestral foods, the stories, the land, and the hands that taught us.
The ingredients we use are symbols of Mexican land and its spirit, and we honor the magic + sacredness in fruit, corn, cacao, vanilla bean, and chile. Since the time of the Mayan civilization, and to this day, food plays an integral part of Mexican culture, spirituality + rituals. From family meals to larger ceremonies, gatherings and altars for Dia de Muertos, there is always a reason to cook, gather, eat, celebrate + enjoy the simple moments that make life magical.
